Telegram is a company that owns the cross-platform messenger of the same name for tablets and smartphones, which allows users to use text messages, various documents, and media files. Initially, Telegram had a English-language interface and was focused on the international market.
Pavel Durov, who previously founded the popular social network VKontakte, is the author and creator of the Telegram project. Together with his brother Nikolai, Pavel launched a Telegram in the summer of 2013.
