AAEON was established in 1992. AAEON developed and focused on Single Board Computers. In 1994, AAEON set up Research & Design Department. Also, the production lines were completely converted to Compact Boards, Half-Size CPU cards and Full-Size CPU cards. At the same year, AAEON obtained ISO-9001 and aimed to be an OEM/ODM manufacturer specialist.
In 2000 AEON extended its product offering to Industrial Workstations, Panel PCs, Display Monitors and LCD PCs. In the same year, AAEON received the Innovation Research Award, which distinguished AAEON as a strong engineering company with solid R & D capacities.
