Centrica is an international energy and services company. Connected Home was started by Centrica, as part of British Gas, in 2012 to empower the consumer by enabling them to flexibly control their homes. Through its Hive smart home products - Hive Active Heating, Hive Active Plugs, Hive Active Light bulbs, Hive motion sensors and Hive window and door sensors, residential customers can control their homes from a smartphone, tablet, or PC.
