SecureView® is a Cross Domain Access solution developed by the Air Force that provides users with the ability to access Multiple Independent Levels of Security (MILS) and Operational Domains on a sing

Description

SecureView enables a single computer to host multiple guest virtual machines (VMs) running at different classification levels and connected to multiple networks. SecureView has been accredited in the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) since 2011, and is on the Unified Cross-Domain System Management Office (UCDSMO) baseline of approved solutions. A Low-cost, Non-proprietary Mils Solution SecureView is based on COTS virtualization technology. Leveraging the technology and architecture from NSA’s High Assurance Platform (HAP) program, SecureView establishes security and the chain-of-trust is down to the actual processor and chipset of the PC. SecureView uses an open-source, Type I or “bare metal” hypervisor that drastically enhances the performance and security of its MILS workstations over other Cross Domain Solutions. Enabling Deskot as a Service “Desktop as a Service” is a transformative strategy that revolutionizes the traditional IT operating model. “Desktop as a Service” initiatives will enable the IC and DoD to migrate from an agency-centric IT architecture to a common platform where the community easily and securely shares technology, information and resources. Wireless Access to Classified Information For years, the IC and DoD have searched for a secure wireless solution to be able to provide their personnel with the ability to stay connected to classified networks regardless of their location inside of a sensitive compartmentalized information facility (SCIF) or open storage area. NSA’s new Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) program provides U.S. government agencies with unprecedented capabilities to deploy and secure classified networks. Rather than requiring the development of any Type I or proprietary hardware, CSfC is centered around the integration of NSA’s Suite B cryptographic algorithms into commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) equipment (Virtual Private Network gateways, wireless controllers, etc). By leveraging the CSfC solutions, Government agencies can leverage Virtual Private Network (VPN) capability to securely tunnel classified network traffic over any black or unclassified network, including a black wireless Local Area Network.
