Video identification of non-business individuals Fast, secure and available anywhere WebID Identify Personal is a product for the video identification of non-business individuals and is designed to meet the strict requirements of the Money Laundering Act (GwG) as well as the requirements of the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority. This means that we comply with the regulations and gather all of the data required by the GwG for the unique and secure identification of individuals, i.e. their name, place of birth, date of birth, nationality and address, and verify and compare these with their ID document. Our product sets standards too for all other industries. Many of our customers use our product across Europe and worldwide to legitimate their customers. As with all of our services, we check the individual’s identity via a video call which the customer can join through any Internet-enabled device with a camera and microphone. Our own high-security video identification centre Our high-security video identification centre is located in Germany and we operate it ourselves. This ensures at all times that your customers’ personal details never leave Germany. Since different industries also have different requirements, we of course offer solutions with video identification centres based elsewhere in Europe and worldwide. Talk to us to find out more. Our own staff trained in fraud prevention Our more than 400 staff are specialists in fraud detection and document verification. Every day, they carry out more than 10,000 legitimation procedures. Their training is always first-rate. This includes our in-house training courses and guidance from crime prevention authorities, which are carried out regularly every four to six weeks. Our agents speak multiple languages The recruitment criteria for staff in our high-security video identification centre are strict. One of the requirements is the ability to speak German and English fluently. This means that customers from a variety of nations and countries can be legitimated.
