Description

The telecom operator Beeline Kazakhstan is the universal telecommunications operator that offers mobile and fixed telephony, long-distance and international communications, data transmission, access technology, Wi-Fi and 3G networks of the third generation. In July 2008, Beeline became the first company to receive official permission to provide cellular services in the GSM 1800 standard in the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2009, the Internet at Home service was launched using advanced fiber-optic technology. The service is available in 25 cities, covering about 1,200,000 buildings of the country. To date, more than 380,000 subscribers are connected throughout Kazakhstan. In April 2010, Beeline universal telecommunications operator was the first in the CIS to deploy 4G demonstration zones based on LTE technology in Astana and Almaty. In October 2010, Beeline launched a pilot LTE outdoor network in the business capital of Kazakhstan, Almaty. On November 22, 2010, the Ministry of Communications and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Kar-Tel LLP during a press conference announced the launch of a third-generation network in Almaty and Astana. On January 1, 2011, commercial operation and access to 3G began in all cities of Kazakhstan. According to the results of the third quarter of 2014, 9.8 million customers use Beeline Kazakhstan services.
